Presentation

The members of the National Handball League’s Management Committee decided the following criteria to nominate those clubs taking part in the Champions Trophy :
- the French champions
- the winners of the League Cup
- the winners of the French Cup 
- the first team of a First Division club playing host to the competition (organising club), or the next best placed team in the previous season’s First Division competition. If one club has won several of these titles, or if one of the competing clubs has been relegated at the end of the previous season, the vacant place(s) will be allocated to the next best placed team(s).
