Presentation of the French Cup

The French Cup is organised by the French Handball Federation (FFHB).

# Entry

Participation in the French Cup is open to all clubs of all levels in mainland France and the overseas territories, except those with a  corporative status. Clubs can only enter one team and must enter its first team. Clubs in the LNH (Division 1), Division 2, Nationale 1, Nationale 2 and Nationale 3 competitions are automatically entered in this competition.

# Organisation of the Competition

The different knockout rounds will be organised according to the level of competition and according to the number of clubs entered.

Level 1 : departmental competitions

Level 2 : regional competitions

Level 3 : national N3 – N2 – N1 – D2 + Overseas  competitions

Level 4 : LNH competitions. The matches will be drawn taking into account geographical location.

From the Last 16 onwards, matches will be drawn without taking into account geographical location.
