Presentation of the League Cup
The League Cup is organised by the National Handball League (LNH)
# First round
The League Cup starts with a qualifying round involving the 12 First Division teams not involved in the Champions League. The two teams qualified for the Champions League are automatically qualified for the quarter-finals of the League Cup. ?The qualifying round is played over one knockout match, with the team drawn first out of the hat playing at home.
# Quarter-final
The teams qualified for the Champions League enter the competition at the quarter-final stage, where they are joined by the winners of the qualifying round matches. The quarter-finals are played over one knockout match, with the team drawn first out of the hat playing at home.
# Final Four
The semi-finals are played over one knockout match. The winners of this competition qualify directly for the EHF Cup the following season.
